Pick a Mobius bag by what you carry, not by how it looks. For a full kit and a laptop, choose the Eye Q Pro, Trendsetter Pro or Bunker. For two bodies on a job, the Bunker or Headline. For lenses only, the Zoom or Ultimate. For one camera and one extra lens, the Everyday. Every bag below ships with a rain cover, and the whole range is on our Mobius collection.

Start with what you actually pack
A full kit and a laptop for travel
Three backpacks are built for this, and they differ in how much you carry. The Trendsetter Pro takes a body with an 18-135mm, an 85mm f/1.8, a 70-200mm, a flash and a charger, with a laptop up to 15.4 inches in its own sleeve. The Eye Q Pro is the bigger pack: a main compartment of about 19 x 13 x 6 inches, a tripod holder and a sleeve for up to a 17 inch laptop. The Bunker is the compact one, and it adds two travel touches: the back panel zips over the shoulder straps so nothing snags at an airport, and a top opening lets you pull out a camera without opening the main compartment.
All three are sized to meet standard cabin bag limits, but airlines differ, so check yours before you fly.
Two bodies on a paid shoot
Weddings and events mean two cameras, a flash and constant lens changes. The Bunker carries up to two bodies and four to five lenses on your back. The Headline is the shoulder bag option: it fits one to two pro DSLRs, for example a body with an 18-135mm plus a 70-200mm and an 85mm f/1.8, along with batteries, a charger and cards. Its padded dividers can be rebuilt for each job, and its lid overlaps the zip so monsoon rain runs off.
Light days with lenses
The Zoom and Ultimate both hold three lenses such as a 70-200mm, an 85mm and a 50mm, or one body with a kit lens plus a 70-200mm. The Zoom weighs about 0.6 kg and has adjustable padded inserts and a waist strap that takes weight off the shoulder. The Ultimate adds a padded tablet compartment, and its lens insert lifts out, so the bag doubles as a college or office messenger.
One camera, every day
The Everyday is for students, travellers and anyone who carries a single camera. A Canon 200D Mark II with an 18-55mm attached and a 55-250mm beside it fits, with a flash, battery, charger and cards. The strap detaches, so you can wear it on one shoulder or across the body.
Backpack or sling bag?
A backpack spreads weight over both shoulders. That makes it right for travel, long shoots and carrying a laptop. A sling or shoulder bag swings to your front, so you can change a lens without taking the bag off. That matters at a wedding or in a crowd, where there is nowhere to put a bag down. If you do both kinds of work, many photographers keep a backpack for travel days and a sling for the shoot itself.
Fabric and rain: what 600D and 900D mean
The number is the thread weight of the outer fabric, and a higher number is a heavier, tougher weave. The Zoom and Everyday use 600D water-repellent poly PU coated fabric. The Headline, Trendsetter Pro, Eye Q Pro and Ultimate use 900D. Both are water repellent rather than waterproof, so none of these bags should be submerged. In heavy rain, pull on the rain cover that comes with the bag.
Three mistakes to avoid
- Buying on laptop size alone. Check the sleeve width against your laptop. A thick gaming laptop can be tight even inside the listed size.
- Buying one size too big. A half-empty bag lets gear slide. Adjustable dividers help, but a bag closer to your real kit protects it better.
- Forgetting the rest of the kit. Lights and stands need their own bag. The Chrom is a padded tube made for 14 ft heavy light stands.
Carry small gear on your body
If you would rather keep batteries, cards and filters within one hand's reach, Mobius also makes sleeveless photographer's jackets. See the Z Security, the Camrig Camou and the DGP Plain.
