Collection: Gimbal & Stabilizer

Three-axis gimbal stabilisers for mirrorless bodies, cinema cameras and phones โ€” motorised heads that cancel out the shake of a walking operator.

Payload is the only specification that matters first

Weigh your camera body plus your heaviest lens, plus anything else mounted โ€” monitor, microphone, cage, extension arm. Compare that total against the stated payload, and leave real headroom. A gimbal running near its limit drains its battery quickly, strains the motors, and produces a visible correction wobble that ruins the shot. Buying one rated to exactly your rig weight is the most common mistake in this category.

Balance it before you power it on

A gimbal is a balancing device with motors, not a motor that fixes imbalance. If the rig is not physically balanced on all three axes before powering up, the motors fight it continuously โ€” battery drains, motors heat, and stabilisation degrades. Ten minutes of balancing is the difference between usable footage and a wasted day.

What it does and does not fix

A gimbal removes shake. It does not remove bad movement โ€” a poorly planned walk still looks like a poorly planned walk, just smoothly. Learn the follow modes rather than leaving it locked, and pair with a wide lens: long focal lengths magnify every residual correction.
