NiceFoto AR-600 LED video light in a halftone collage, headline NiceFoto LED Lights Guide

A plain guide to choosing a NiceFoto LED video light in India for studio, interviews and YouTube, grouped by job.

For a small studio, interviews and YouTube, start with the NiceFoto AR-600A: 4500 lm, 2700K to 6500K, 96 or higher CRI, in a compact 93 x 84 x 108 mm body. Step up to the FC-2000A or FC-3000A when you need a stronger key light, and to the DL120-3000A umbrella when you want soft light across a bigger area. Pick the AR-600B instead if you only shoot at daylight 5600K.

This guide groups the NiceFoto video lights we list by the job they do, using the maker's published specifications, so you can match a light to your set.

Three numbers that matter: colour temperature, CRI and lux

  • Colour temperature (K) is how warm or cool the light looks. 2700K is a warm bulb, 5600K is daylight, 6500K is slightly cool. Match it to your window light or to other lamps in the frame.
  • CRI shows how faithfully a light renders skin and colours. Every light here is rated 96 or higher by the maker, which is good for faces and products. TLCI, the video version of the same idea, is also 96 or higher.
  • Lumens and lux. Lumens (lm) measure total light output. Lux measures how bright it is at the subject at a stated distance and reflector. Compare lux only where the maker tested the same way, and note that the AR, QY, FC and BJ figures use different distances.

AR, QY and FC series: the main lights

Best for: a key light on interviews, talking head YouTube and small studio sets.

The AR-600A is the entry point. It runs 2700K to 6500K, rates 6200 lux at 1 m with the mini reflector, and has a 120 degree beam. It offers 100 dimming steps, 6 light effects, a built-in receiver and app control, with a heat pipe and silent fan. The AR-600B is the same body fixed at 5600K, rated 5000 lm and 9000 lux at 1 m. Choose it only if you never need warm light.

The QY-2000A gives 20000 lm and 50000 lux with the standard reflector at 1 m, and weighs 2.1 kg packed. It cools naturally with no fan, and has quick colour temperature stops at 2700K, 3200K, 5600K and 6500K.

The FC-2000A (20000 lm, 70000 lux), FC-3000A (300W, 30000 lm, 85000 lux) and FC-6000A (600W, 58000 lm, 150000 lux) run from mains and share the 2700K to 6500K range and 120 degree beam. Choose by how much light you need: the FC-6000A weighs 4.2 kg packed and suits large sets.

Umbrella lights: soft light for bigger areas

Best for: product shoots, group interviews and small studio sets where you want even, soft light.

The DL120-3000A has a 120 cm umbrella, 30000 lm and a separate dimmer box, packed at 6.6 kg. The DF60-1000A is the smaller option: a 60 cm umbrella, 9000 lm, 2 kg packed. Both run 2700K to 6500K with an app and built-in receiver.

Tube and flex lights: shaped and portable light

Best for: background accents, product work and tight spaces.

The AT-200AU is an inflatable tube, 12.8 x 90 cm, with 2000 lm, a 210 degree beam and 4 magnets. It runs on USB PD. Note that it has four fixed colour stops (2700K, 4000K, 5600K, 6500K), not a smooth range. The FB-1000C is a 30 x 60 cm roll flex panel with 10000 lm and the full 2700K to 6500K range, powered through a power box.

RGB lights: colour for backgrounds and effects

Best for: coloured backgrounds, music videos and creative YouTube sets.

The LV-3000C is RGB plus warm white, with hue control across H000 to H360, 18 scene modes and 30000 lm. It is a 5 kg light, so plan a sturdy stand. The BJ-150CZ is the compact one at 1500 lm and 0.95 kg, with a 20 to 50 degree focus range and 4 scene modes.

Which one should you buy?

  • Single presenter, desk or small room: AR-600A.
  • Daylight only, no colour tuning: AR-600B.
  • Stronger key light on location: QY-2000A or FC-2000A.
  • Large studio sets: FC-3000A or FC-6000A.
  • Soft, even light on products or groups: DL120-3000A, or DF60-1000A for smaller sets.
  • Background colour and effects: LV-3000C or BJ-150CZ.

Frequently asked questions

Which NiceFoto light is best for YouTube?

The AR-600A suits most single presenter setups: 4500 lm, adjustable colour temperature and app control. Go higher if your room is large.

What does CRI 96 mean?

CRI scores how accurately a light shows colours. The maker rates every light listed here at 96 or higher, so skin tones stay natural.

Is the AT-200AU a full range colour light?

No. It has four fixed stops at 2700K, 4000K, 5600K and 6500K. For a smooth range, pick an AR, QY or FC light.

Do these lights have app control?

The AR, QY, FC, umbrella and FB-1000C lights list app control, and the LV-3000C lists RGB plus warm white with app control.

Where can I check what is available?
