Case Kavach makes sealed, impact-resistant hard cases for cameras, lenses, drones, audio kit and instruments — the kind of case that travels in an aircraft hold, rides in the back of a vehicle, or sits on a wet location floor without you thinking about it. Every case ships with foam and a snap-off foam cutter included in the price.

The Vantage range

Fifteen sizes, from a compact body-and-lens case up to a large wheeled trunk. All are moulded from impact-resistant polypropylene with a stainless steel hinge pin, twin latches, and a pressure equalisation valve that lets air balance during flight so the case still opens on arrival. Certifications vary by model — the exact list for each case is on its product page.

Choosing your foam

Every case comes with solid foam sheets, convoluted lid foam and a cutter, so you cut a fit for your own kit. Pre-plucked cubed foam and fully CNC-machined custom foam are available to order — CNC gives the closest fit and the best protection, cut to a drawing of your exact gear.

Getting the size right

Don't guess, and don't reach for a tape measure. Use the hard case size finder — pick the gear you actually carry from a list and it works out the foam layout, checks it against all fifteen cases and draws the cut sheet to scale. If you would rather measure yourself, take your largest item with the lens attached and allow roughly 20 mm of foam on each side; usable interior space works out to about 65% of the stated internal volume once foam is in.
