Payload is the specification that matters

Every other feature is secondary to whether the gimbal can actually balance your rig. Weigh your camera body plus your heaviest lens, plus anything else mounted — monitor, microphone, cage — and compare that against the stated payload. Running a gimbal near its limit drains the battery faster, strains the motors and produces visible correction wobble. Leave headroom rather than matching the number exactly.

Getting usable footage

A gimbal removes shake; it does not remove bad movement. Balance the rig properly before powering on — an unbalanced gimbal fights itself and drains battery — and learn the follow modes rather than leaving it locked. Combine with a wide lens for the smoothest results; long lenses magnify every residual correction.
