The SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD (model series SDSSDE61) is a pocket-sized NVMe external drive for photographers, videographers and anyone who moves large files. It reads at up to 1050MB/s and writes at up to 1000MB/s.

It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 2 with USB Type-C and carries an IP65 water and dust rating with drop protection up to three metres. Password protection uses 256-bit AES hardware encryption. SanDisk gives a 5-year limited warranty. SanDisk quotes the same speeds across capacities. 1GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes, so usable space is less than the stated capacity.
