HDMI and SDI are not equivalent

HDMI connectors have no locking mechanism, so they pull out of a camera under the weight of the cable — which is why full-size HDMI on a rig usually needs a clamp. Signal degrades over distance and the micro-HDMI ports on mirrorless bodies are genuinely fragile. SDI locks on with a BNC twist, runs reliably over long cable lengths, and is what cinema cameras and broadcast equipment use. If you are running video more than a couple of metres, SDI is the correct choice, and 12G-SDI is what carries 4K60 over a single run.

USB-C cables are not all the same

A USB-C connector says nothing about what the cable carries. Many charge but carry no data at all; many others carry data only at USB 2.0 speed regardless of the plug. If you tether or offload over USB-C, buy a cable rated for the data speed you need and label it — an unlabelled drawer of identical-looking cables is how an hour disappears on set.
